Behind the Name:
The Calca Coin Pouch is named for a sleepy little town in the north tip of the Sacred Valley in Peru, Calca. When I visited, we stayed in a hotel down a very bumpy road that I wasn't sure our bus would make it down but when we arrived, the place was amazing. Beautiful views, great people. We were fortunate enough to be able to do some volunteer work, making bricks for a future greenhouse, at a girls' school. Many of the girls had incredible stories of wanting to learn and walking for miles just to attend. The town, school, area, people, and lifestyle really stuck with me.

Calca Coin Pouch
Products are handmade to order. Each piece is unique and will have slight variations. No two pieces are the same, even from the same hide. Because free-roaming bison is used, it can contain range marks, scratches, scars, sores, and may have dark blotches. Most large marks are not used.
All products are made from full-grain bison leather, from American bison. All thread used is Ritza Tiger Thread. Hardware is sourced from various places at the moment.
