Behind the Name:
Trapper holds several meanings. Trapper was my first dog/babysitter, although I don't have any memories, just pictures. But Trapper also stands for Trapper Peak and Trapper Creek. The former is a beautiful, looming peak in the Bitterroot Mountains. Trapper Creek feeds into the West Fork of the Bitterroot River and a worksite where my dad worked for most of my life. It was always this cool place where everybody seemed to love my dad and he had a key to the pop machine, which I thought was the greatest.

Products are handmade to order. Each piece is unique and will have slight variations. No two pieces are the same, even from the same hide. Because free-roaming bison is used, it can contain range marks, scratches, scars, sores, and may have dark blotches. Most large marks are not used.
All products are made from full-grain bison leather, from American bison. All thread used is Ritza Tiger Thread. Hardware is sourced from various places at the moment.
